CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-337 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO <br /> PLAYGROUND PRODUCTS, INC., FOR <br /> REPLACEMENT OF PARK PLAY EQUIPMENT, <br /> PROJECT NO. 877018 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> replacement of park play equipment, Project No. <br /> 877018; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., <br /> the City Engineering Services Division advertised <br /> for bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on July 19, <br /> 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Playground Products, Inc., in the amount <br /> of $33,921.00 was determined to be the lowest <br /> responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of Playground Products, <br /> Inc. be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Playground Products, Inc., in the <br /> amount of $33,921.00, for replacement of park play <br /> equipment, Project No. 877018, is hereby accepted <br /> by the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract with Playground Products, Inc. for the <br /> improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
