CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 88-327 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON AND THE PT~ASANTON FIREFIGHTERS INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS, LOCAL 1974, AND FIXING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1988-89 BUDGET ACCORDINGLY WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974, have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974; and WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process, a Memorandum of Understanding dated July 5, 1988, was entered into between the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of' Firefighters, Local 1974; and WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the City Council at the regular meeting of July 5, 1988; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974, for a term commencing July 1, 1988 through August 31, 1990, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum of Understanding.
