CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-326 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FIXED AND UNIFORM REFUSE <br /> COT~CTIONRATES FOR CITY OF PT~ASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton (City) and Pleasanton Garbage <br /> Service Inc. (Contractor) have entered into an Agreement <br /> for the exclusive collection, transportation and dispos- <br /> al of dry garbage and refuse from the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 9.20,090 of the City of <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code, rates for refuse services <br /> shall be set by a resolution approved by the City Coun- <br /> cil of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor shall conduct all billing related to the <br /> collection, transportation and disposal of said garbage <br /> and refuse in strict accordance with the rates listed in <br /> this Resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor currently operates a transfer station <br /> located at Busch Road in the City of Pleasanton which is <br /> available to the general public; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the exclusive residential agreement, <br /> the City has the authority to regulate the fees for the <br /> usage of the transfer station; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE THAT: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />The rates for the collection, transport and disposal of dry gar- <br />bage and refuse from the City of Pleasanton effective April 1, <br />1988 are as follows: <br /> <br /> SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL RATES: <br /> <br /> 1. For the regularly scheduled once each week pick-up of 30 <br /> gallon waste receptacles from the curbside of single- <br /> family residential properties, the monthly rates are as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
