CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-587 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR ANAMENDMENT TO THE LAND <br /> USE ET.RMENT OF T}IE GENERAL PLANTO CHANGE <br /> THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF APPROXIMATELY <br /> ONE ACRE LOCATED AT 3963 STANLEY <br /> BOULEVARD FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> TO COMMRRCIALAND OFFICES (GP-88-6) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 20, 1988, the City <br /> Council received a proposed negative declaration <br /> for the application of Earl Augusta and Stanley <br /> Partners to amend the Land Use Element of the <br /> General Plan to change the land use designation of <br /> approximately one acre located at 3963 Stanley <br /> Boulevard from Medium Density Residential to <br /> Commercial and Offices (GP-88-6); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the <br /> Initial Study dated October 14, 1988 and received <br /> the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br /> time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> comment on the environmental impacts of the <br /> proposed General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential <br /> impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br /> local guidelines governing the preparation of <br /> Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br /> Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed <br /> General Plan amendment would not have any <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the <br /> application of Earl Augusta and Stanley Partners to <br /> amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan to <br /> change the land use designation of approximately <br /> one acre located at 3963 Stanley Boulevard from <br /> Medium Density Residential to Commercial and <br /> Offices (GP-88-6) . <br /> <br /> <br />
