CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-579 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF DEED FROM THE PRUDENTIAL <br /> INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA FOR <br /> STONERIDGE DRIVE RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a deed from The <br /> Prudential Insurance Company of America to the City <br /> of Pleasanton, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference, for <br /> purposes of street right-of-way for Stoneridge <br /> Drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 20, 1988, the City <br /> Council received a report from the Director of <br /> Public Works and Utilities indicating that the <br /> acceptance of this deed is in the public interest; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The deed from The Prudential Insurance Company of <br /> America to the City of Pleasanton for street right- <br /> of-way for Stoneridge Drive is hereby accepted and <br /> the appropriate City officers are instructed to <br /> take whatever action necessary to implement said <br /> acceptance. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 20, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> <~ TEST: KENNETH R.
