CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-566 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF MOZART <br /> DEVELOPMENT COMPANY TO A DECISION OF TKE <br /> DESIGN REVIEW BOARD DENYING DESIGN <br /> APPROVAL FOR TWO SIGNS AT 6150 STONERIDGE <br /> NALLROAD (AP-88-28) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 26, 1988, the Design <br /> Review Board denied the application of Mozart <br /> Development Company for design review approval to <br /> install two wall-mounted, non-illuminated tenant <br /> identification signs to be located at an existing <br /> multi-tenant office building at 6150 Stoneridge <br /> Mall Road (Case Z-88-453); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code, Mozart Development Company <br /> submitted an appeal to the City Clerk of the City <br /> of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council <br /> on December 6, 1988 at which time all pertinent <br /> testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the preponderance of evidence, the City <br /> Council finds that this application should be <br /> denied because there is no need for parapet signage <br /> in this situation and because the sign would be <br /> incompatible with previously approved ground floor, <br /> wall mounted tenant signage for the complex and <br /> incompatible with future signage needs for the <br /> building. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The appeal in Case Z-88-458, the application of <br /> Mozart Development Company for design review <br /> approval to install two wall-mounted, non- <br /> illuminated tenant identification signs to be <br /> located at an existing multi-tenant office building <br /> at 6150 Stoneridge Mall Road (AP-88-28) is denied <br /> and the decision of the Design Review Board in this <br /> matter is sustained. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
