CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 88-566 RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF MOZART DEVELOPMENT COMPANY TO A DECISION OF TKE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD DENYING DESIGN APPROVAL FOR TWO SIGNS AT 6150 STONERIDGE NALLROAD (AP-88-28) WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 26, 1988, the Design Review Board denied the application of Mozart Development Company for design review approval to install two wall-mounted, non-illuminated tenant identification signs to be located at an existing multi-tenant office building at 6150 Stoneridge Mall Road (Case Z-88-453); and WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Mozart Development Company submitted an appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on December 6, 1988 at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and WHEREAS, based on the preponderance of evidence, the City Council finds that this application should be denied because there is no need for parapet signage in this situation and because the sign would be incompatible with previously approved ground floor, wall mounted tenant signage for the complex and incompatible with future signage needs for the building. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The appeal in Case Z-88-458, the application of Mozart Development Company for design review approval to install two wall-mounted, non- illuminated tenant identification signs to be located at an existing multi-tenant office building at 6150 Stoneridge Mall Road (AP-88-28) is denied and the decision of the Design Review Board in this matter is sustained. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
