CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-548 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION COMMENDING DEWITT C. WILSON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, 'DeWitt C. Wilson has served on the City Council for <br /> the past two years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson has also devoted his time and expertise <br /> in serving the community by being a member of the <br /> Planning Commission, Alameda County Fair Board and <br /> on the BART Board; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson has consistently shown diligence and a <br /> dedication to achieving the best for the <br /> community; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council commends DeWitt C. Wilson for <br /> his years of service to the City of Pleasanton in <br /> all his capacities and thanks him for his <br /> outstanding contributions to the community. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 29, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> ABSTAIN: Councilmember Wilson /~~J <br /> KEN~ET~ R.
