CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-539 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF <br /> CONNOT.T~ DEVELOPMRNT, INC. TO REZONE <br /> APPROXIMATELY 0.56 ACRES LOCATED AT THE <br /> SOUT}IEAST CORNER OF T~E INTERSECTION OF <br /> MISSION DRIVE AND SUNOL BOULEVARD FROM <br /> "C-F" (FREEWAY COMMRRCIAL) TO THE "C-N" <br /> (NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT <br /> (RZ-88-9) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 15, 1988, the City <br /> Council received a proposed negative declaration <br /> for the application of Connolly Development, Inc. <br /> to rezone an approximately 0.56 acre site, located <br /> on the southeast corner of the intersection of <br /> Mission Drive and Sunol Boulevard, from the "C-F" <br /> (Freeway Commercial) District to the "C-N" <br /> (Neighborhood Commercial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the <br /> Initial Study dated September 28, 1988 and received <br /> the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br /> i!.~...time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> . comment on the environmental impacts of the <br /> proposed rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential <br /> impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br /> local guidelines governing the preparation of <br /> Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br /> Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed <br /> rezoning would not have any significant adverse <br /> effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the <br /> application of Connolly Development, Inc. to rezone <br /> an approximately 0.56 acre site, located on the <br /> southeast corner of the intersection of Mission <br /> <br /> <br />
