CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-519 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF MEASURE AA - <br /> REGIONAL OPEN SPACE, WILDLIFE, SHORELINE <br /> AND PARK BOND ON NOVEMBER 8, 1988 BAYJOT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the East Bay Regional Park District Board of <br /> Directors has placed a proposed $225 million bond <br /> issue on the November 8, 1988 ballot, Measure AA; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 25% of the proceeds of the bond sale would be <br /> distributed to local park and recreation agencies <br /> within the District on a per capita population, to <br /> be used for local projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 1, 1988, Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Parks and <br /> Community Services (IR 88:77) regarding the <br /> proposed bond issue and the request of the East Bay <br /> Regional Park District for support of the measure; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton hereby <br /> expresses its support of the proposed bond issue, <br /> Measure AA, Regional Open Space, Wildlife, <br /> Shoreline and Park Bond. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 1, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, and Wilson <br />NOES: Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None ~~ <br />ATTEST: KENNE <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS · <br /> <br />Michael H.
