CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 88-516 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PI~ASANTON CONSENTING TO AND CAT.LING A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTANDTHE FINAL EIRRELATING THERETO WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Community Development Agency (the "Agency"), by Resolution No. CDA 88-04, adopted on November 1, 1988, consented to and requested that the City Council of the City of Pleasanton (the "City council") call a joint public hearing of the Agency and the City Council to consider and act upon the proposed Redevelopment plan (the "Redevelopment Plan") for the Downtown Redevelopment Project (the "Project"), together with a joint public hearing on the Final Environmental Impact Report relating thereto; and WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) authorizes a joint public hearing on the proposed Redevelopment plan with the consent of the Agency and the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council hereby consents to and, at the request of the Agency, calls a joint public hearing of the Agency and the City Council on Tuesday, December 6, 19~8, at 7:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers to consider and act upon the proposed Redevelopment Plan and all documents and evidence pertaining thereto, together with a joint public hearing on the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Project. Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton shall, in cooperation with the Secretary of the Agency, prepare, publish and mail such notices and documents and do all other acts as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this resolution. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
