CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-508 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF RENOVATION OF 200 OLD <br /> BERNAL AVENUE AND 123 MAIN STREET AND <br /> APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO <br /> DAR-NEL CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Dar-Nel Construction on the <br /> renovation of 200 Old Bernal Avenue and <br /> 123 Main Street has been satisfactorily <br /> completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the renovation of 200 Old Bernal <br /> Avenue and 123 Main Street is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> .a warrant in the amount of $8,523.41 in favor of <br /> Dar-Nel Construction in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work. Ten <br /> percent (10%) of the total Contract or $42,393.33 <br /> will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
