CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-503 <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO NEGOTIATIONS <br /> WITH THE FOOT~ITL HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION <br /> FORT HE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPINGAN <br /> AGREEMENT FOR IMPROVING FOOTHILLS KNOT~a <br /> PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Foothill Homeowners Association owns and <br /> maintains Foothills Knolls Park, a 1.7 acre park <br /> located east of Foothill.Knolls Drive and west of <br /> 1-680; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Foothill Homeowners Association wishes to <br /> improve the park with the assistance of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Foothill Homeowners Association have indicated <br /> they wish to negotiate an agreement with the City <br /> which would transfer ownership, maintenance and <br /> improvement responsibilities of the park to the <br /> City in return for a $10,000 initial payment and <br /> $1,000 per month payment for five years from the <br /> Foothill Knolls Homeowners Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this matter will be heard by the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission on October 13, 1988 and a <br /> recommendation forwarded to the City Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes entering into negotiations with the <br /> Foothill Homeowners Association for the purpose of <br /> developing an agreement for the improvement of <br /> Foothill Knolls Park. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
