CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-500 <br /> <br /> RESOI/3TION APPROVING A MAJOR MODIFICATION <br /> TO GATEWAY SQUARE RETAIL COMPLEX TO <br /> ACCOMMODATE DESIGN MODIFICATIONS FOR A <br /> CHILI'S RESTAURANT (PUD-81-30-35D-4M) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in August of 1986, Council approved the development <br /> plan for a 103,900 sq. ft. specialty retail center <br /> consisting of four main buildings, three <br /> freestanding kiosk structures and three accent <br /> towers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since approval of the development several <br /> modifications have been approved; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pacific Quadrant Development Company has applied <br /> for a major modification to allow exterior building <br /> and site changes to accommodate a restaurant use to <br /> be located at the northeast corner of the <br /> intersection of Hopyard Road and Stoneridge Drive; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planing Commission has recommended approval of <br /> the major modification, subject to certain <br /> conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Pacific Quadrant <br /> Development Company for a major modification to an <br /> approved development plan for an approximately <br /> 103,900 sq. ft. retail commercial complex to allow <br /> exterior building and site changes to accommodate a <br /> restaurant use to be located at the northeast <br /> corner of the intersection of Hopyard Road and <br /> Stoneridge Drive (PUD-81-30-35D-4M), subject to the <br /> following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the development shall be substantially as <br /> shown on the plans, Exhibit A on file with <br /> the Planning Department. <br /> <br /> 2. That the development shall be subject to all <br /> conditions of approval imposed on Case <br /> PUD-81-30-35D and any subsequent approved <br /> project modifications. <br /> <br /> <br />
