CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-482 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SIGN PROGRAM FOR <br /> PI~ASANTON LIBRARY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 4, 1988, the City Council <br /> received the report of the Director of Planning and <br /> Community Development (SR 88:480) regarding the <br /> proposed sign program for the new library; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed signage has been reviewed and approved <br /> by the Design Review Board and the Library <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because the library is located within the C-O <br /> (Civic Overlay) District, signs of this nature <br /> require review and approval of the Design Review <br /> Board and by the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, signs of this nature are categorically exempt from <br /> the requirements of the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act and no environmental document <br /> accompanies this application; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of the City of <br /> Pleasanton for design review approval to construct <br /> freestanding, monument identification signage for <br /> the library facility (Z-88-441), subject to the <br /> following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the design for the monument signs shall <br /> substantially conform to the site plan, plans, <br /> and elevations on file with the Planning <br /> Department. <br /> <br /> 2. That all required City permits for the signs <br /> shall be obtained prior to their <br /> installation. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
