CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-468 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO <br /> CLARKLIFT OF OAKLAND FOR PURCHASE OF A <br /> FORKLIFT TRUCK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> a rough terrain forklift truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., <br /> the City Engineering Services Division advertised <br /> for bids regarding this equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on <br /> October 4, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of ClarkLift of Oakland, in the amount of <br /> $35,032 was determined to be the lowest responsible <br /> bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of ClarkLift of Oakland be <br /> accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of ClarkLift of Oakland, in the amount of <br /> $35,032, for a rough terrain forklift truck, is <br /> hereby accepted by the City Council as the lowest <br /> responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract with ClarkLift of Oakland for purchase of <br /> the equipment specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
