CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-465 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN FIXING SALA- <br /> RIES AND BENEFITS FOR MANAGEMENTAND CONFIDENTIAL PER- <br /> SONNEL FOR THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON, NOT INCLUDING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION <br /> NO. 87-460 AND AMENDING THE BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the establishment and <br /> designation of certain employees as management and <br /> confidential employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended salary ranges and <br /> supplementary benefits for the period October 1, 1988 <br /> through September 30, 1989 for management and confiden- <br /> tial employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has previously, by Resolution No. 87- <br /> 460, adopted a compensation plan for the above employ- <br /> ees, which resolution must now be repealed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RE- <br />SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The salary ranges and supplementary benefits for <br /> management and confidential employees for the period <br /> commencing October 1, 1988 and ending September 30, <br /> 1989, shall be as set forth in Exhibit A, attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to adjust salary <br /> levels within the ranges set forth in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Section 3: The 1988-89 Budget of the City of Pleasanton is <br /> amended accordingly. <br /> <br />Section 4: Resolution No. 87-460 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 5: Except as provided herein to the contrary, the terms <br /> and provisions of this Resolution shall not affect the <br /> applicability of the Personnel Rules of the City of <br /> Pleasanton to management and confidential employees who <br /> are not exempt from said Rules. <br /> <br />Section 6: The salary and supplementary benefits set forth in <br /> this Resolution shall be the only compensation for the <br /> positions set forth in Exhibit A hereto and there shall <br /> be no right to receive benefits contained in any Memo- <br /> <br /> <br />
