CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-195 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SITE DEVELOPMENT, INC. , <br /> FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PI~ASANTON SPORTS AND <br /> RECREATION PARK, PHASE V, PROJECT NO. <br /> 867040 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park, Phase V, <br /> Project No. 867040; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., <br /> the City Engineering Services Division advertised <br /> for bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on <br /> May 2, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Environmental Site Development, Inc., <br /> in the amount of $1,402,841.00 was determined to be <br /> the lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of Environmental Site <br /> Development, Inc. be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Environmental Site Development, Inc., <br /> in the amount of $1,402,841.00, for Pleasanton <br /> Sports and Recreation Park, Phase V, Project No. <br /> 867040, is hereby accepted by the City Council as <br /> the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract with Environmental Site Development, Inc. <br /> for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
