CITY COUNCIL CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-172 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> CASE RZ-89-3, THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH MADDEN FOR <br /> REZONING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joseph Madden has applied to rezone an approximately <br /> 0.24 acre site located at the northern terminus of Old <br /> Santa Rita Road between Tassajara Creek and Old Santa <br /> Rita Road from the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br /> Industrial/Commercial and Offices District to the C-S <br /> (Commercial Service) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 4, 1989, the City Council <br /> received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br /> February 24, 1989 and received the recommendations of <br /> the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have <br /> any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-89-3, <br /> the application of Joseph Madden for rezoning an <br /> approximately 0.24 acre site from the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br /> District to the C-S ()Commercial Service) District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
