CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-145 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY <br /> COUNCIL TO A DECISION OF THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION GRANTING A USE PERMIT FOR A <br /> PARK AND RIDE LOT IN HACIENDA BUSINESS <br /> PARK (AP-88-11/UP-88-14) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Hacienda Business Park Owners Association has <br /> applied for a conditional use permit to operate a <br /> park-and-ride lot facility to be located on a <br /> portion of an approximately 2.3 acre site located <br /> at the southeast corner of the intersection of <br /> Chabot Drive and Owens Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved the application at <br /> its meeting of May 11, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this decision was appealed by the City Council so <br /> it could review the application totally; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council <br /> on March 21, 1989 at which time all pertinent <br /> testimony and documents were reviewed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council denies the appeal of Case <br /> UP-88-14 and therefore upholds the decision of the <br /> Planning Commission approving this application <br /> subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the proposed use shall be operated as a <br /> park-and-ride facility in substantial <br /> conformance with the site plan on file with <br /> the Planing Department. <br /> <br /> 2. That the facility grounds shall be maintained <br /> in a neat and litter-free manner at all <br /> times. <br /> <br /> 3. That if signage is desired for the proposed <br /> use, a separate application shall be submitted <br /> to the City for review and approval. <br /> <br /> 4. That the 50-foot wide public service easement <br /> along Owens Drive across the frontage of the <br /> project site shall be landscaped in <br /> conformance with the adopted design guidelines <br /> <br /> <br />
