CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 89-145 RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO A DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION GRANTING A USE PERMIT FOR A PARK AND RIDE LOT IN HACIENDA BUSINESS PARK (AP-88-11/UP-88-14) WHEREAS, Hacienda Business Park Owners Association has applied for a conditional use permit to operate a park-and-ride lot facility to be located on a portion of an approximately 2.3 acre site located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Chabot Drive and Owens Drive; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved the application at its meeting of May 11, 1988; and WHEREAS, this decision was appealed by the City Council so it could review the application totally; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on March 21, 1989 at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council denies the appeal of Case UP-88-14 and therefore upholds the decision of the Planning Commission approving this application subject to the following conditions: 1. That the proposed use shall be operated as a park-and-ride facility in substantial conformance with the site plan on file with the Planing Department. 2. That the facility grounds shall be maintained in a neat and litter-free manner at all times. 3. That if signage is desired for the proposed use, a separate application shall be submitted to the City for review and approval. 4. That the 50-foot wide public service easement along Owens Drive across the frontage of the project site shall be landscaped in conformance with the adopted design guidelines
