CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-123 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br /> MCDONOUGH, HOLLAND & ALLEN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting on behalf of the <br /> Community Development Agency, has entered into an <br /> Agreement with the law firm of McDonough, Holland & <br /> Allen to provide legal services to the Agency in <br /> connection with redevelopment activities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Agreement, as previously amended, provided <br /> that the maximum compensation thereunder was to be <br /> $35,000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said funds have been expended but there is a <br /> continuing need to utilize the services of this law <br /> firm. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign <br /> Amendment No. 2 to the above-referenced Agreement, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED March 21, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: KENNETH R.
