CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-120 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DETERMINING KOT.T.N STREET NOT <br /> BE OPENED AT VALLEY AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 7, 1989, the Director of <br /> Public Works and Utilities submitted his report <br /> regarding the proposed opening of Kolln Street at <br /> Valley Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, numerous residents protested this opening and <br /> expressed concerns over traffic, noise, and danger <br /> to the children in the neighborhood; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council determines that Kolln Street <br /> shall not be opened at Valley Avenue. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 7, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~~f~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: EN ET~ R.~kR~ER, MAYOR <br /> K N <br /> <br /> ames R.
