CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-116 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> BRIDGMAN HUNTON, INC. FOR DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN APPROVALTO CONSTRUCT A 35-PARCEL <br /> RESIDENTIAL PROJECTAT 5137 FOOTHILL <br /> (PUD-88-13) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bridgman Hunton, Inc. applied for development plan <br /> approval to construct a 35-parcel, single-family <br /> residential project to be located on 10 acres at <br /> 5137 Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council <br /> on March 7 1989, at which time many residents spoke <br /> to the Council expressing various concerns about <br /> the project as designed, including traffic on <br /> Foothill Road, design of the houses in relation to <br /> neighboring homes, view impact and the impact on <br /> Lydicksen School; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: In view of the concerns expressed, the City <br /> Council denies the application of Bridgman Hunton, <br /> Inc. for development plan approval to construct a <br /> 35-parcel, single-family residential project to be <br /> located on 10 acres at 5137 Foothill Road <br /> (PUD-88-13). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 7, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers Butler and Mohr <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None /~~ <br />ATTEST: KENNETH'R.
