CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-114 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING TONI RIMERAS A <br /> REGULAR MEMBER OF THE LIBRARY COMMISSION <br /> AND RALPH LAIR/3 TO FILL THE ALTERNATE <br /> MRMBER SEAT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Robert Gorlow has resigned from the Library <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the names of <br /> various individuals who are interested in serving <br /> on the Library Commission and evaluated their <br /> qualifications; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Toni Rimer is hereby appointed to the position of <br /> Regular Member of the Library Commission to fill <br /> the seat vacated by Robert Gorlow, which term <br /> expires on July 1, 1989, and the term is extended <br /> for a four year period to July 1, 1993. <br /> <br />Section 2: Ralph Laird is hereby appointed to the position <br /> of Alternate Member on the Library Commission to <br /> fill the seat vacated by Toni Rimer, said term to <br /> expire July 1, 1991. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 7, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: K .
