Exhibit "A" Resolution No. 2400 DRAFT CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE N0, AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO SPECIFIC PARKING REGULATIONS FOR THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT AMENDING SECTION 2-9,15 (BASIC REQUIREMENTS), ARTICLE 16 (OFF-STREET PARKING FACILITIES), CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), TITLE II (ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 2-9,15 (Basic Requirements), Article 16 (Off- street Parking Facilities), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended by adding subsection d „ to read as follows: d, For property zoned C-C (Central Commercial) located within the Central Business District (CBD) as shown on the zoning maps on file with the City the following requirements shall modify the basic requirements of subsection a, above, 1. "Major alteration" or "enlargement" shall mean a change in use which would increase the number of parking spaces required by more than fifty percent (50~) or a physical expansion of a structure that would increase total gross floor area of the structure by more than twenty-five percent (25~), 2. New construction on property zoned C-C (Central Commercial) within the Central Business District shall be subject to the standard parking requirements of this article, including the basic requirements of subsection a „ above, or such other standards as applied at the time of approval by the City, Such requirements shall apply for a period ending five years from the date of initial occupancy of the structure, Section 2. The Planning Commission shall review the provisions of this subsection bi-annually and shall recommend revisions when appropriate. _.. .T.._.__-. ..__. _.. _...
