Exhibit "A" <br />Resolution No. 2400 DRAFT <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />ORDINANCE N0, <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO SPECIFIC PARKING REGULATIONS <br />FOR THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT AMENDING SECTION <br />2-9,15 (BASIC REQUIREMENTS), ARTICLE 16 (OFF-STREET <br />PARKING FACILITIES), CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), TITLE II <br />(ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON. <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does ordain as follows: <br />Section 1. Section 2-9,15 (Basic Requirements), Article 16 (Off- <br />street Parking Facilities), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II <br />(Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance Code of the <br />City of Pleasanton is amended by adding subsection d „ to <br />read as follows: <br />d, For property zoned C-C (Central Commercial) located <br />within the Central Business District (CBD) as shown on <br />the zoning maps on file with the City the following <br />requirements shall modify the basic requirements of <br />subsection a, above, <br />1. "Major alteration" or "enlargement" shall mean <br />a change in use which would increase the number <br />of parking spaces required by more than fifty <br />percent (50~) or a physical expansion of a structure <br />that would increase total gross floor area of the <br />structure by more than twenty-five percent (25~), <br />2. New construction on property zoned C-C (Central <br />Commercial) within the Central Business District <br />shall be subject to the standard parking requirements <br />of this article, including the basic requirements <br />of subsection a „ above, or such other standards <br />as applied at the time of approval by the City, <br />Such requirements shall apply for a period ending <br />five years from the date of initial occupancy of <br />the structure, <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission shall review the provisions of this <br />subsection bi-annually and shall recommend revisions when <br />appropriate. <br />_.. <br />.T.._.__-. ..__. _.. _... <br />
