17. That all existing wells, septic tanks or holding <br />tanks on the site be properly sealed, filled and abandoned <br />prior to the start of grading operations unless Zone 7 <br />retains specific wells for observation wells, or <br />special approval is obtained from the City Engineer for <br />temporary use of an existing well for construction water. <br />Any wells designated for abandonment or any wells encountered <br />during construction, are to be destroyed in accordance with a <br />permit obtained from Zone 7 by calling (415) 443-9300. <br />lg. That the haul route for all materials to and from this <br />developmentā¢be approved by the City Engineer prior to the <br />start of any construction. <br />19, That the developer submit an erosion and sedimentation control <br />plan or procedure as part of the improvement plans prior to <br />the final approval of the development. <br />20, That the developer submit a dust control plan or procedure as <br />part of the improvement plans prior to the final approval of <br />the development. <br />21. That storm drainage swales, gutters, inlets, outfalls, and <br />channels not within the area of a dedicated public street <br />or public service easement approved by the City Engineer be <br />privately maintained by the property owners or through an <br />association approved by the City. <br />22. That approval of the water supply and distribution system be <br />withheld pending final design and until the developer has <br />demonstrated to the satisfaction of the'City Engineer that <br />the proposed system meets both the immediate and long-range <br />requirements for supplying water in this area. <br />23. That the developer comply with any and all applicable requirements <br />of the cross-connections control and backflow prevention device <br />programs required by the California Administrative Code, <br />Title 17. <br />24. That the developer pay the applicable Zone 7 and City connection <br />fees and the meter cost prior to Council approval of the <br />development for any water meters (irrigation meters) not <br />directly related to a building permit. <br />Z5, That approval for the number, type and location of fire <br />hydrants be withheld pending final design, review by the <br />Fire Marshal, and final review by the City Engineer. <br />-3- <br />
