PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON _ COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2428 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR FOURSQUARE CHURCH AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-83-54 WHEREAS, Pleasanton Foursquare Church has applied for a conditional use permit to operate a church meeting facility and administrative offices at 1220 Quarry Lane; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- Industrial District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 8, 1984 the Planning Commission approved the negative declaration prepared for case UP-83-54; and WHEREAS, at this same duly noticed public hearing, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City Staff; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) that the proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives - and purposes of the zoning district in which the site is located; b) that the proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare or be materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and c) that the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of the Ordinance Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves case UP-83-54, the application of Pleasanton Foursquare Church for a conditional use permit to operate a church meeting facility and administrative offices at 1220 Quarry Lane subject to the following conditions: 1. That this use permit is granted solely for the Zion Fellowship Church. The Church shall occupy only 5,520 sq. ft. of the building located at 1220 Quarry Lane. 2. The activities of the Church shall be limited to Sunday morning worship services and the Sunday school classes and various evening and/or weekend meetings pertaining to Church business.
