PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />_ COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2428 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR FOURSQUARE <br />CHURCH AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-83-54 <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton Foursquare Church has applied for a conditional <br />use permit to operate a church meeting facility and <br />administrative offices at 1220 Quarry Lane; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Industrial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 8, <br />1984 the Planning Commission approved the negative declaration <br />prepared for case UP-83-54; and <br />WHEREAS, at this same duly noticed public hearing, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant <br />exhibits and recommendations of the City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) that the proposed location <br />of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives <br />- and purposes of the zoning district in which the site <br />is located; b) that the proposed location of the conditional <br />use and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare or be materially injurious <br />to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and c) <br />that the proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of the Ordinance Code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP-83-54, the application of Pleasanton <br />Foursquare Church for a conditional use permit to operate <br />a church meeting facility and administrative offices <br />at 1220 Quarry Lane subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That this use permit is granted solely for the Zion <br />Fellowship Church. The Church shall occupy only <br />5,520 sq. ft. of the building located at 1220 Quarry <br />Lane. <br />2. The activities of the Church shall be limited to <br />Sunday morning worship services and the Sunday school <br />classes and various evening and/or weekend meetings <br />pertaining to Church business. <br />
