PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2430 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF TtiE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON DENYING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-83-10/12, <br />APPLICATION OF WAGERMAN, BLACK, CARTLIDGE, ET AL FOR <br />PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL <br />WHEREAS, Wagerman, Black, Cartlidge, etal have applied for PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-development plan approval <br />for a proposed thirty-five lot low density residential <br />project with lots ranging in size from approximately <br />23,0000 to 58,000 sq. ft. on approximately 25 acres <br />located in the general vicinity of the northwest corner <br />of Mohr and Martin Avenues; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low <br />Density Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 8, <br />1984 at which time a negative declaration of environmental <br />impacts was recommended for approval after the Planning <br />Commission considered all public input, relevant exhibits, <br />and recommendatiions of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, there was much public outcry concerning the proposal <br />- relating to aesthetics, traffic, orientation of the <br />proposed dwellings, and public improvements required <br />for approval; and <br />WHEREAS, because of the reasons mentioned in the paragraph above <br />the Planning Commission did not feel that the plan proposed <br />for this site was what it had envisioned for the area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Denies case PUD-83-10/12, application of Wagerman, <br />Black, Cartlidge, et al for PUD development plan approval <br />for a proposed thirty-five lot low density residential <br />project as herein described. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption unless an appeal has been received <br />prior to that time. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 8TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: Commissioners Lindsey and Wilson <br />ABSENT: None <br />~' ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: February 8, 1984 <br />
