PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2432 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF PREZONING FOR 500 AND 510 HAPPY VALLEY ROAD <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-84-3 <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 14, 1984, the City Council <br />initiated annexation proceedings on approximately two <br />acres in two parcels at 500 and 510 Happy Valley Road; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at this same duly noticed public hearing the City Council <br />initiated a prezoning application so that the properties <br />would have zoning at the time they officially come into <br />the City; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of February 22, 1984 <br />the Planning Commission considered that both lots share <br />the general plan designation of Low Density Residential <br />as does most of the rest of the Happy Valley area; and <br />WHEREAS, the City staff recommended that the appropriate zoning <br />for the property would be either PUD-Low Density Residential, <br />R-1-20 or R-1-40 zoning districts; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this prezoning; and <br />WHEREAS, this matter is categorically exempt from the City's environmental <br />review procedures, therefore, no environmental document <br />accompanied this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 <br />Recommends that the approximately two acres in two <br />parcels at 500 and 510 Happy Valley Road be prezoned <br />the R-1-40,000 (Single-family Residential) District. <br />to <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effecitve immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 22ND DAY OF FEBRUARY 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
