PLANNING COMMISSION <br />- CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />- RESOLUTION N0. 2440 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASASNTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL <br />OF THE APPLICATION OF VAL WEST AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE PUD-83-16 <br />WHEREAS, Val West, Inc. has applied for PUD (Planned Unit Le~re:.oFment)- <br />development plan approval of a 200 unit residential development <br />project on approximately 35 acres located on the north <br />side of Vineyard Avenue opposite Sauterne YJay; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Medium Density Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of March 14, 1984 <br />the Planning Commission recommended approval of a mitigated <br />negative declaration for this project after considering <br />all relevant exhibits, public testimony and recommendations <br />of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) for case PUD-83-16 conforms to the zoning <br />and General Plan land use designation for this site; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the request of the applicant <br />for a recommendation to reduce the in lieu of park dedication <br />fees for this project inasmuch as it is the developer's <br />contention that they are providing an approximately four <br />acre park within the development. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the proposed development for <br />Val West, Inc. for a 200 unit residential development on <br />approximately 35 acres located on the north side of Vineyard <br />Avenue opposite Sauterne Way subject to the conditions shown <br />on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part of this case <br />by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 14TH DAY OF MARCH 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: March 14, 1984 <br />
