PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />-- RESOLUTION N0. 2444 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED <br />FOR CASE GP-84-4, APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Co. has applied to amend the Land Use and Circulation <br />Element of the General Plan to change the land use designation of the <br />approximately 5.7 acre site located immediately north of Hacienda Business <br />Park between Hopyard Road, Chabot Drive and Owens Drive from "General <br />and Limited Industrial" to "Industrial, Commercial and Offices" and to <br />extend Stoneridge Drive southerly across West Las Positas Boulevard, <br />then beyond the southeast corner of the Hacienda Business Park to Santa <br />Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of March 28, 1984 the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendation <br />of the City staff concerning the proposed general plan amendment including <br />the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated there would not be <br />any significant impact on the environment should this application be <br />approved because conditions imposed on project approval would reduce <br />any potentially significant adverse effects to an insignificant level. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared <br />for case GP-84-4 as herein described. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br />and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE <br />28TH DAY OF MARCH 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: March 28, 1984 <br />ATTEST: '1 <br />Robert J.
