PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2445 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT <br />FOR PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE GP-84-4 <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Co. has applied for an amendment to the Land Use <br />and Circulation Element of the General Plan to change the land use designation <br />of the approximately 5.7 acre site located immediately north of Hacienda <br />Business Park between Hopyard Road, Chabot Drive and Owens Drive from <br />"General and Limited Industrial" to "Industrial, Commercial and Offices" <br />and to extend SToneridge Drive southerly across West Las Positas Boulevard, <br />then beyond the southeast corner of the Hacienda Business Park to Santa <br />Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of March 28, 1984 the Planning Commission <br />recommended adoption of the mitigated negative declaration prepared for <br />case GP-84-4 after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits <br />and recommendations of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission felt this general plan amendment to be in the <br />public interest. <br />-- NOW, THEREFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of case GP-84-4, application of Prudential Insurance <br />Company to amend the Land Use and Circulation Element of the General <br />Plan to change the land use designation of the approximately 5.7 acre <br />site located immediately north of Hacienda Business Park between Hopyard <br />Road, Chabot Drive and Owens Drive from "General and Limited Industrial" <br />to "Industrial, Commercial and Offices" and to extend Stoneridge Drive <br />southerly across West Las Positas Boulevard, then beyond the southeast <br />corner of the Hacienda Business Park to Santa Rita Road subject to the <br />conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part of this <br />dase by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br />and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE <br />28TH DAY OF MARCH 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: March 28, 1984 <br />
