PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2446 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-81-30-LM <br />FOR PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Ins. Co. of America has applied for a revision to the Hacienda <br />Business Park Planned Unit Development (PUD-81-30) to expand the boundaries <br />of the park to the northwest to include an approximately 5.7 acre site <br />bounded by Hopyard Road, Owens Drive and Chabot Drive and to rezone that <br />site from I-G (General Industrial) to PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial <br />(CPD): and to make the following changes to the land use and circulation <br />designations within the existing boundaries of the Park: (change the <br />3.466 acre site located at the northeast corner of Chabot Dr. and Gibraltar <br />Drive from Commercial (CPD) to Garden Office (OGPD); change the 18.366 <br />acre site located on the northeast side of Stoneridge Drive immediately <br />northwest of Tassajara Creek from Industrial/Warehouse (IWPD) to Research <br />and Development/Light Manufacturing (IPD); change the 15.120 acre site <br />located on the northeast side of Stoneridge Drive between Tassajara Creek <br />and West Las Positas Blvd. from Industrial/Warehouse (IWPD) to 11.120 <br />acres of Research and Development/Light Manufacturing (IPD) and 4 acres <br />of Public and Institutional; and change the 15.27 acre site located at <br />the sutheast corner of the Hacienda Business Park from Industrial/Warehouse <br />(IWPD) to 12.677 acres of Research and Development/Light manufacturing <br />(IPD) and 2.6 acres of street right-of-way; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of March 28, 1984 the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendation <br />of the City staff concerning the proposed development including the environmental <br />impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated that there would not <br />be any significant impact on the environment should this application <br />be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for case <br />PUD-81-30-1M as herein described. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br />and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE <br />28TH DAY OF MARCH 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: March 28, 1984 <br />
