CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-104 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR <br /> AQUATIC CENTER PATIOAND LANDSCAPE <br /> RENOVATION, PROJECT NO. 857085, AND <br /> APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENTTO <br /> GATEWAY LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Gateway Landscape Construction, Inc. on the <br /> Aquatic Center patio and landscape renovation, <br /> Project No. 857085, has been satisfactorily <br /> completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Aquatic Center patio and <br /> landscape renovation is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $11,926.89 in favor of <br /> Gateway Landscape Construction, Inc. in <br /> satisfaction of the final progress payment for the <br /> above-accepted work on Project No. 857085. Ten <br /> percent (10%) of the total contract or $4,834.50 <br /> will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
