PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2457 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON DENYING A USE PERMIT FOR <br />ALBERTA BARRIOUS AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-84-14 <br />WHEREAS, Alberta Barrious has applied for a conditional use permit to <br />operate a children's daycare facility for up to approximately <br />30 children at 266 Kottinger Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-6500 Single-family Residential) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of April 25, 1984, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant documents <br />and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a petition with 83 signatures was received against the proposal <br />and a petition with 78 signatures was received for the proposed <br />use; and <br />WHEREAS, after due consideration the Planning Commission could not make <br />the required findings to grant approval of this proposed conditional <br />use permit. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Denies case UP-84-14, application of Alberta Barrious for <br />a conditional use permit to operate a children's daycare facility <br />for up to approximately 30 children at 266 Kottinger Drive for <br />lack of required findings. <br />Section 2.
