PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2467 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISIION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND WELLS FARGO BANK, NA <br />WHEREAS, there is a development agreement between the City <br />of Pleasanton and Wells Fargo Bank, NA, for the Stoneridge <br />Shopping Center and surrounding peripheral properties; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the amendment is required to conform to the terms <br />of the Development Agreement with the plans presented <br />by Doubletree, Inc., for the four acre site located <br />adjacent and to the west of 6000 Stoneridge Mall Road <br />to use a portion of the property for a hotel; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is CR(p) (Regional Commercial- <br />peripheral) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 9, 1984 <br />the Design Review Board approved a Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration for the design, use and development agreement <br />modification for this project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff recommended that the Planning Commission <br />recommend approval of the revised development agreement <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by reference <br />except that Section 2 be clarified to state that motels <br />on the subject property are conditionally permitted <br />uses subject to approval of a conditional use permit. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the draft development agreement <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A" except that Section <br />2 shall be clarified to state that motels on the subject <br />property are conditionally permitted uses subject <br />to approval of a conditional use permit. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 9TH DAY OF MAY 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty and Vice Chairman Wilson <br />,-- NOES: Commissioner Lindsey <br />ABSENT: Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: May 9, 1984 <br />
