CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-101 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO <br /> PT2ASANTON ENGINEERING CONTRACTORS, FOR <br /> S-6 SEWER PUMP STATION BUILDING ADDITION, <br /> PROJECT NO. 882039 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> the S-6 sewer pump station building addition, <br /> Project No. 882039; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., <br /> the City Engineering Services Division advertised <br /> for bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on March 7, <br /> 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Pleasanton Engineering Contractors, in <br /> the amount of $35,000.00 was determined to be the <br /> lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of Pleasanton Engineering <br /> Contractors be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Pleasanton Engineering Contractors, in <br /> the amount of $35,000.00, for the S-6 sewer pump <br /> station building addition, Project No. 882039, is <br /> hereby accepted by the City Council as the lowest <br /> responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract with Pleasanton Engineering Contractors <br /> for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
