PLANNING CGMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2483 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-84-6 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to change the General Plan designation of the approximately 17 acre City Corporation Yard located at 5335 Sunol Boulevard and the approximately 20.5 acre City-owned parcel located west of the corporation yard immediately west of the SPRR right-of-way from "Public and Institutional" and "General and Limited Industrial" to "Public and Institutional", "Parks and Recreation" and "High Density Residential;" and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff, the Planning Commission considered the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, The Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated there could be a potentially significant impact on the environment should this project be approved, but that conditions imposed on project approval would reduce those impacts to an insignificant level. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the mitigated negative declaration prepared for case GP-84-6 as herein described. Section 2. This resoluton shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
