CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-100 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECIARING A PARCEL OF LANDAS <br /> SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING GRANTING SAID <br /> LAND TO CLX REALTY IN EXCHANGE FOR <br /> PROPERTYAT STONERIDGE DRIVE/I-680 <br /> INTERCHANGE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has an interest in a parcel of land, which <br /> was acquired as part of the Stoneridge Drive/I-680 <br /> interchange and which is no longer needed for the <br /> interchange; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 7, 1989, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Assistant City Attorney <br /> regarding a proposed transfer to the adjacent land <br /> owner along with an exchange for other property <br /> needed for the Stoneridge Drive/I-680 interchange; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code §8355, the <br /> City may negotiate an exchange with the owners of <br /> the lands adjacent to or fronting on the street in <br /> the manner and terms approved by the legislative <br /> body; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Declares as surplus the 3,947 sq. ft. parcel <br /> described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City determines that the market value for the <br /> property is $12.50 per square foot. <br /> <br />Section 3: The subject parcel shall be sold only to the <br /> adjacent landowner, CLX Realty, in exchange for <br /> other needed right-of-way for Stoneridge Drive. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
