PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2491 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ENDORSING THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLEASANTON CITY <br />COUNCCL CONCERNING THE MOLLER QUARRY CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT <br />WHEREAS, Moller Quarry located on the northwest side of Foothill <br />Road in the City of Pleasanton has a conditional use <br />permit from the County of Alameda to have such an operation <br />at this location; and <br />WHEREAS, Moller Quarry desires to extend the conditional use <br />permit for 17 years and has so applied to the County <br />of Alameda; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has expressed <br />opposition to a blanket 17 year extension of this conditional <br />use permit; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of July 11, 1984 the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton, after discussing the matter, <br />desired to express support of the Pleasanton City Council <br />in their position regarding the extension of the conditional <br />use permit for Moller Quarry. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Supports the position of the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton to request that Alameda County deny <br />the request of Moller Quarry for a 17 year extension <br />on their conditional use permit. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 11TH DAY OF JULY 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Wellman and Vice Chairman <br />Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Lindsey and Chairman Lindsey <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: July 11, 1984 <br />
