PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />i ~ COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />~ STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2496 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASNTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF <br />CASE PUD-81-30-15D FOR HACIENDA BUSINESS PARK <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied for design <br />review approval of two office buildings totalling approximately <br />217,000 sq. ft. proposed to be constructed on the 14.16 <br />acre site located at the northeast corner of Hopyard <br />Road and West Las Positas Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 11, 1984 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public input, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendtions of the City staff <br />concerning this proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental impact report was prepared in conjunction <br />with the zoning of the Hacienda Business Park. A project <br />of this type on the subject property was considered <br />-- within the scope of that EIR. For this reason, case <br />PUD-81-30-14D is not considered to be a new project, <br />and therefore, no environmental documents accompany <br />this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the application of Prudential <br />Insurance Company for design approval for two office <br />buildings totalling 217,200 sq. ft. proposed for the <br />approximately 14 acre park site located at the northeast <br />corner of the intersection of Hopyard Road and West <br />Las Positas Boulevard subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown <br />on the site plan, elevations, grading plan and <br />landscape plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning <br />Department. <br />2. That samples of the exterior building materials <br />to be used in the building shall be submitted to <br />the Planning Staff and City Council for their approval <br />at the time of consideraiton of this project. <br />Colors of these materials shall also be submitted <br />at this time. <br />3. That approval of case PUD-81-30-15D is subject <br />to all conditions of approval of Ordinance No. <br />1109, re-approving Hacienda Business Park. <br />
