CITY COUNCIL CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-92 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> CASE RZ-89-2, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PI~ASANTON <br /> TO PREZONE THE BONDE PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an <br /> approximately 100 acre site located on both sides of <br /> Bernal avenue generally between Independence Drive and <br /> Angela Street to the "A" (Agricultural) District or to <br /> any other zoning district consistent with the General <br /> Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 21, 1989, the City Council <br /> received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br /> February 2, 1989, and received the recommendations of <br /> the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have <br /> any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br /> Case RZ-89-2, application of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> prezone an approximately 100 acre site located on both <br /> sides of Bernal avenue generally between Independence <br /> Drive and Angela Street to the "A" (Agricultural) <br /> District or to any other zoning district consistent with <br /> the General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
