PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2383 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-83-8 <br />WHEREAS,the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the general plan <br />land use designation from "High Density Residential" to "Medium <br />Density Residential," or any other designation deemed in <br />the public interest for a 6.6 acre site located at the southwest <br />corner of Stoneridge Drive and I-680; and <br />WHEREAS,zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High <br />Density Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS,at their duly noticed public hearing of November 9, 1983, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant maps and recommendations of the City Staff concerning <br />the proposed general plan amendment including the environmental <br />impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with state and local guidelines governing <br />the preparation of negative declarations and environmental <br />impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated there <br />would not be any significant impact on the environment <br />should this application be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, <br />public testimony and documentary evidence presented at the <br />public hearing, there would be no significant adverse impacts <br />upon the environment as a result of approval of the proposed <br />general plan amendment. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared <br />-for case GP-83-8 as herein described. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective upon its passage <br />and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />on the 9th DAY OF NOVEMBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
