PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2387 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR CASE GP-83-14, APPLICATION OF MURRAY SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Murray School District has applied to amend the general plan <br />land use designation on an approximately 11.9 acre site located <br />on the north side of Muirwood Drive between Springdale Avenue <br />and Forest Hill Drive from "Schools" to "Medium Density Residential; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 9, 1983, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant maps and recommendations of the City Staff concerning <br />the proposed general plan amendment including the environmental <br />impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with state and local guidelines governing the <br />preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated there would <br />not be any significant impact on the environment should this <br />application be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public <br />testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public <br />hearing, there would be no significant adverse impact upon <br />the environment as a result of approval of the proposed general <br />plan amendment. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared <br />-for case GP-83-14 as herein described. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON , <br />ON THE 9th DAY OF NOVEMBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman <br />Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: November 9, 1983 <br />
