PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2390 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT PREPARED FOR CASE GP-83-15, APPLICATION OF THE <br />PLEASANTON JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton School District has applied to amend the general <br />plan land use designation from "Schools" to "Medium Density <br />Residential" with regard to the following five sites: <br />1. Approximately <br />of Lower Abbie <br />School Site. <br />0.9 acres located near the eastern terminus <br />Street just north of the Pleasanton Elementary <br />2. Approximately 7.2 acres located near the eastern terminus <br />of Mission Drive just north of the City park facility. <br />3. Approximately 7.6 acres located between Black Avenue <br />and Hansen Drive opposite Via de la Cruz on the north <br />and Camino Brazos and Corte Melina on the south. <br />4. Approximately 22.2 acres just north of the eastern terminus <br />of Crellin Road. <br />5. Approximately 10.5 acres just south of the easternn terminus <br />of Crellin Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 9, 1983 <br />after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits <br />and recommendations of the City staff, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of the Negative Declaration prepared <br />for case GP-83-15. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RECOMMENDS THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. the 0.91 acre Pleasanton School located near the eastern <br />terminus of Lower Abbie Street just north of the Pleasanton <br />Elementary School site be changed to "Medium Density Residential." <br />The approximately 7.6 acres located between Black Avenue and <br />Hansen Drive opposite Via de la Cruz on the north and Camino <br />Brazos and Corte Melina on the south remain "Community Facilities <br />- Schools." <br />The approximately 7.7 acre site located near the eastern <br />terminus of Mission Drive just north of the City park facility <br />be changed to "Low Density Residential." <br />The approximately 10.5 acres just south of the eastern terminus <br />of Crellin Road be changed to "Low Density Residential." <br />The 22.2 acre site located just north of the eastern terminus <br />of Crellin Road be changed to "Low Density Residential." <br />
