PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2391 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-83-10 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Safety Element of the General Plan with regard to smoke, glare, lighting, electrical interference and other navigation hazards in flight zones near local aviation facilities; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 9, 1983 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also considered the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated there would not be any significant impact on the environment should this application be approved. NOW, THEREFOER, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there would be no significant adverse impact upon the environment as a result of approval of the proposed general plan amendment. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared -for case GP-83-10 as herein described. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
