PLANNINF CO;~AfISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />_ COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2396 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-83-12, CAPITAL <br />CONVEYANCE <br />WHEREAS, Capital Conveyance Company has applied to amend the General plan <br />land use designation on approximately 1.56 acres located on the north <br />side of Valley Avenue just east of the Hopyard shopping Village from <br />Public and Institutional" to "Commercial and Offices;" and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 28, 1983, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant maps and recommendations <br />of the City staff concerning the proposed general plan amendment <br />including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated there would not <br />be any significant impact on the environment should this application <br />be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public testimony <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there would <br />be no significant adverse impact upon the environment as a result <br />of approval of the proposed general plan amendment. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for case <br />GP-83-12 as herein described. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br />and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISIION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON <br />THE 28TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman <br />Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: November 28, 1983 <br />
