PLANNINF CO;~AfISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON _ COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2396 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-83-12, CAPITAL CONVEYANCE WHEREAS, Capital Conveyance Company has applied to amend the General plan land use designation on approximately 1.56 acres located on the north side of Valley Avenue just east of the Hopyard shopping Village from Public and Institutional" to "Commercial and Offices;" and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 28, 1983, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant maps and recommendations of the City staff concerning the proposed general plan amendment including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated there would not be any significant impact on the environment should this application be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Finds that based on the review of the Initial Study, public testimony documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there would be no significant adverse impact upon the environment as a result of approval of the proposed general plan amendment. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for case GP-83-12 as herein described. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
