PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2398 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-83-9, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the general plan land <br />use designation for the tier of lots adjacent to the western right-of-way <br />line of Peters Avenue between St. John Street and Bernal Avenue from <br />"High Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices" or to any <br />other designation deemed in the public interest; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 28, 1983, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant maps and recommendations <br />of the City staff concerning the proposed general plan amendment <br />including the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the Staff indicated there would not <br />be any significant impact on the environment should this application <br />be approved because of conditions imposed in project approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Mitigated Negative Declaration for <br />case GP-83-9 as herein described. <br />Section 2.
