J PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF PLEASANTON
COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. 2203
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE
PUD-81-30-4D, APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE
COMPANY.
WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied for design
approval for a five-story, approximately 300,000 sq. ft.
office building on an approximately 16.4 acre site located
in the area bounded by Gibraltar Drive, Stonerdge Drive
and Hacienda Drive; and
WHEREAS, this matter was continued from the duly noticed public
hearing of July 28, 1982 when the Planning Commission asked
that the Fire Chief be present before them to address the
height of the structure; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the
development plan of the subject site (PUD-81-30) including
the typical architectural and site designs for individual
lots, and there are no changed circumstances or new
information requiring additional environmental review;
therefore, this application does not constitute a new
project under CEQA and no new environmental documents
accompany this application; and
WHEREAS, at the continued meeting of August 4, 1982 after all
public input and documents were reviewed, the Fire Chief
came before the Planning Commission and stated that with
the new firefighting apparatus the height of this
building would pose no problem with this regard; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found that the project is con-
sistent with PUD-81-30 as well as the City's General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING:
Section 1. Recommends approval of case PUD-81-30-4D as described
above subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made part of this case by reference.
Section 2, This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton
on the 4th day of August by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners
NOES: Commissioners
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: tdone
DATE: August 4, 1982
Doherty, Getty and Chairperson Lindsey
Jamieson and Wilson
~~~
