PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2209 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION R~COMMENDI G <br />APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-82-13 FILED BY CASTL WOOD PRO ERTIES, <br />INC. <br />WHEREAS, Castlewood Properties, Inc. has applied f r planne unit <br />development zoning and development plan a proval f r a <br />24-unit single-family residential project proposed for the <br />approximately 48 acre site located on the west sid of <br />Foothill Road northwest of its intersectidn with Bernal <br />Avenue; and ', <br />WHEREAS, the property is currently zoned HPD (Hillsjide Plann d Develop- <br />ment) District; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report has been prlepared fo case <br />PUD-82-13; and j <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of Au'~ust 11, 982, <br />_ the Planning Commission considered all public test <br />relevant exhibits regarding the Environmental Impa <br />and case PUD-82-13; and <br />WHEREAS, at this same noticed public hearing the Pu nning C <br />certified that they had read the Environme tal Imp <br />and found it to be complete and adequate i compli <br />CEQA and State and Local Guidelines govern'ng such <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that all sig ificant <br />effects enumerated in the EIR which can fe~sibly be <br />have been eliminated or substantially lessened as i <br />in the document entitled "Environmental Im~act Find <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and by ref rence in <br />herein; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds there would ~e signif <br />in approving case PUD-82-13 pertaining to esthetic <br />soils and fire protection but that conditipns of ap; <br />would reduce all of those potential impact$ to insi~ <br />levels; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds PUD-82-13, a$ modifie <br />to be in conformance with all applicable G@neral P1 <br />and policies as enumerated in the staff re orts and <br />submitted materials; and, further, the Planing Com <br />finds PUD-82-13 conforms to the purposes o~ the PUD <br />including its use for property which could ',have bee <br />pursuant to the City's Hillside Planned Aeuelopment <br />ny and <br />Report <br />ssion <br />Report <br />with <br />ion; and <br />dverse <br />avoided <br />dicated <br />orporated <br />cant impacts <br />geology, <br />icant <br />I herein, <br />in goals <br />developer <br />ii ssion <br />ordinance, <br />~ developed <br />ordinance. <br />
