PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2213 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE ADOPTION OF A <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION AS PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-82-12, <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an approximately <br />6.2 acre site located at 5226 Foothill Road to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential/Open Space <br />District or to any other zoning district consistent with the <br />General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of September 8, 1982 the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for case RZ-82-12; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study <br />dated August 12, 1982 and received the recommendation of the staff; a~d <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 8, 1982 and the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental <br />impacts of the proposed prezoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing ' <br />the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact ', <br />reports; and I <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there <br />would not be any significant impacts upon the environment by approving <br />the prezoning as filed under case RZ-82-12. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the ''~, <br />Initial Study and the testimony and documentary evidence presented '~, <br />at the public hearing that there will be no significant adverse <br />impacts on the environment as a result of the prezoning of the <br />subject property. '. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared for <br />case RZ-82-12 application of the City of Pleasanton as described <br />above. <br />-1- <br />
